Baheya Foundation had an awareness seminar at Petrojet head office. Baheya is a known facility for early breast cancer detection of women and its the first of its kind to be free of charge. Baheya foundation provides help through early education, detection & support services
The seminar was about awareness for early detection by explaining the disease symptoms, ways of treatment & prevention in the first place.
In addition, Petrojet cooperated with Baheya foundation in offering vitamin D blood test for its employees and this is among the company’s “We Care Program”.
Petrojet wins ISO 26000 standard on social responsibility for its consideration & implementation of organizational governance, human rights, labour practices, the environment, fair operating practices, consumer issues, community involvement & development
The standard was launched in 2010 following five years of negotiations between many different stakeholders across the world. Representatives from government, NGOs, industry, consumer groups and labour organizations around the world were involved in its development, which means it represents an international consensus.
This standard is awarded to Petrojet to be the first company of its kind in the Egyptian petroleum sector to acquire it.
In recognition and appreciation of it’s employees, Petrojet holds every year a graduation honoring party for it’s employees’s sons & daughters in preparatory and secondary stages for their academic spectacular achievements.
The ceremony was held in 30-9-2018 at Teba rose hotel 5th settlement, cairo, where they were honoured for their excellence in academic path by petrojet’s CEO Eng. Waleed Lotfy & in the presence of the company’s key officials.
Saipem expresses its gratitude for petrojet’s team excellent work in an appreciation letter
Saipem praises Petrojet’s head Office & maadi yards’s employees for their hard work in the successful Load-Out of 26″ spool and all the remaining key components required to complete the 30″ line in a professional way and safe work performance.
The new well, called Nidoco Southwest 3 has started production, Tarek El Molla, Minister of petroleum declared.
It is expected to produce 180 million cubic feet of natural gas and 1,500 barrels of condensate per day.
The minister added that the well was part of the ministry’s efforts to accelerate development projects and natural gas production progress according to the government’s time schedule and continuously following up for completing drilling new production wells in the least time schedule in order to maintain gas production rate, and it will further lead to an increase in the total local production.
El Molla has said that Egypt will achieve natural gas self-sufficiency by Q4 2018, and will begin exporting by the beginning of 2019.
PETROJET has undertaken the design; engineering; procurement; fabrication, inspection and transporting of Knock-Out Drum in PETROJET’s Central workshops. This pressure vessel has been designed for operation at Zohr development field in its second phase for Petrobel company where PETROJET delivered it successfully to Zohr while complying with the highest HSE standards. The final weight of the Knock-Out Drum is 250 ton.
