Petrojet extraordinary general assembly

petrojet’s extraordinary general assembly was held on 11th June, 2018 and was headed by Minister of Petroleum Tarek El-Molla, in the presence of Head of Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) Abed Ezz, CEO of Petrojet Waleed Lotfy and the board of directors’ members.

Molla said that Petrojet operates within a successful system for the petroleum sector and is considered to be the executive arm of all the sector’s projects.

He added that the presence of Petrojet outside Egypt is a model for the sector’s ability to succeed abroad.

According to the statement, the presence of Petrojet in foreign countries contributed to the opening of many areas of cooperation and integration with a number of companies of the sector such as ENPPI, Petromant, PMS, PAS, Gas Egypt and Fajr.

The company’s projects outside Egypt include: gas separation plant project of Siba field in Iraq, the construction of 26 storage depots in Kuwait, the central processing plant of the Timimoun field in Algeria and the construction of the Duqm gas pipeline in Oman.

Petronas Workshop at petrojet’s Head office

Petronas carried out a workshop in Petrojet’s head office in 22 nd April within the petroleum sector development plan under the patronage of the petroleum Minister Tarek El Molla
The 2- day workshop was on upstream cost optimization (petronas’s cost reduction alliance coral 2.0) and was attendant by high key officals from the petroleum sector.

Iraq starts production from Siba Gas field

Iraq Petroleum minister inaugurated Siba Gas field in 25th of April, where the Southern field has achieved an initial production of 25 million standard cubic feet.

Petrojet in the 4th Lebanon International Oil & Gas Summit

Petrojet participated in the 4th Lebanon International Oil & Gas Summit which was held in 24th April 2018, Under the high patronage of HE Eng. Cesar Abi Khalil, LIOG 2018.

The event provided the meeting place for industry executives and experts to gain invaluable insight to the opportunities presented in Lebanon; the challenges and the road ahead for companies and investors. Many international companies from around the world attended the summit such as shlumberger, Baker Hughes, Petroleum Air Services and many other reputable companies including top public and private sector officials.

PETROJET in MMEC Conference and Exhibition- Mozambique

PETROJET participated in the 6th Mozambique Mining, Oil & Gas & Energy Conference and Exhibition (MMEC), organized by AME Trade Ltd, in collaboration with ENH, which took place from 25 – 26 April 2018 at the Joaquim Chissano Conference Center in Maputo.

This established event has become a firm fixture in the global extractive industries business event calendar.

MMEC 2018 showcased and explored the developments in Mozambique’s thriving Oil & Gas, Mining and Energy sectors and focused attention on the potential opportunities, lessons learned by key investors and the creation of new business partnerships.

Petrojet received an award for the best stand for technical content In the 9th Mediterranean Offshore Conference and Exhibition (MOC 2018) in a ceremony held at the end of the event.

The Conference & the exhibition theme “Mediterranean Potentials – Unlocked Step 2” was about the next wave of investment opportunities in Egypt, taking us to 2020 and beyond and unpack the vision that will encourage international cooperation in the development of Egypt’s oil & gas industry.

EPRI conference & Exhibition 2018

The Egyptian Petroleum Research institute inaugurated its 21st exhibition & conference in 20th February 2018. The conference tackled the relationship between oil, gas, and other resources and the country development.

The event involved educational institutes, research centers, local & regional experts and organizations.

Petrojet awarded a contract by BHGE

Petrojet was awarded a contract worth close to EGP 1 billion by BHGE.

 

The contract was signed by Eng. Waleed Lotfy, Petrojet CEO & Eng. Ayman Khattab, VP South Gulf and East Africa BHGE.

 

The deal will allow Petrojet to provide manufacturing services for BHGE’s upstream oil and gas operations in Egypt, including the fabrication, construction, and testing of heavy-duty structures and components for BHGE’s subsea production system for Phase two of the Zohr gas field, located in the Mediterranean Sea, off the Egyptian Coast, which was awarded to BHGE last year by Petrobel

 

The contract is an extending to the existing long-term manufacturing partnership between the two companies.

Egyps 2018

Petrojet participated in the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS) second edition from 12 – 14 February 2018 ) that was held under the patronage of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, and the auspices of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resource. The event had a high-level strategic conference that brought together the Egyptian and North African government representatives, key project owners, NOCs and IOCs, international service providers, EPC contractors, consultants and financiers to address the evolving opportunities in the Egyptian and North African energy area.

Petrojet CEO Eng.Waleed Lotfy with the company key officials had a number of meetings with global leaders of many national and international Oil & Gas companies.

On top of the meetings was the contract signing between Baker hughes & Petrojet to provide manufacturing services for BHGE’s upstream oil and gas operations in Egypt, including the fabrication, construction, and testing of heavy-duty structures and components for BHGE’s subsea production system for Phase two of the Zohr gas field, located in the Mediterranean Sea, off the Egyptian Coast, which was awarded to BHGE last year by Petrobel.
